CRAFTJACK

Director of Design   |   February 2021–Present

I mentor and guide an expanding team of user experience designers and researchers. I spearhead and collaborate on numerous high-performing, data-driven design initiatives for B2B and B2C customers.

• Led research, design, and build of a new product feature to solicit customer reviews, resulting in:
-Primary cohort gaining a remarkable 408% increase in public-facing business reviews and an $11K annual upsurge in monthly LTV
-Average weekly reviews increasing by 40% across all contractor segments
-Average number of contractors with one review growing by 11.9%, globally

• Guided design and execution of a new user-driven sign up process, resulting in a 10% increase in funnel conversion rate and a $1M reduction of annual sales costs

• In collaboration with the Founder/COO and VP of Marketing, increased overall company productivity and morale across departments by researching, evangelizing, and implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System; met onsite regularly with the leadership team to establish shared department goals and create annual success metrics for all employees to achieve as a cohesive unit



CRAFTJACK

Established the first in-house product design department at an agile, rapid-growth lead generation startup with documented processes, repeatable workflows, and data-driven user research practices.


• Increased conversion rates by 33% with a data-driven, strategic redesign initiative of CraftJack(dot)com and the brand’s multi-channel marketing content strategy


• Spearheaded the research, design, and launch of an iOS and Android app that directly facilitated an increase in contact rates between homeowners and contractors


• Led the redesign initiative of contractor profile pages, driving an increase in contact rates between homeowners and contractors and an increase in contractor retention over time


• Collaborated across departments on a redesign of 30+ microsites producing an average revenue increase of 75%

• Led kickoff discovery sessions and regular design presentations for high profile clients, achieving successful implementation of their online commerce presence and establishing quantifiable KPIs for their projects.
